Daily Manager’s Checklist


  1. Approve hours from the day before and correct online schedules as needed.( Update with SVO Calendar)

  2. Read and respond to emails/Messages in SVO.

  3. Check the condition of the store, i.e., display lights, windows clean… general “feel”. Is the bin system counts up to date?

  4. Be sure lenses are ordered for stock and special orders as needed; only place order after total amount is reached for free shipping.


Weekly Manager’s Checklist


  1. Maintain communication with the Insurance department on any issues with insurance that was being filed.

  2. Verify with the frame person that the frame displays are matching the Exhibits in SVO.

  3. Order needed supplies through the Inventory form on Quick Links in SVO. You will receive a reminder from Inventory when it’s time to order. Please submit your order by the end of the week when the reminder is received from Inventory. 


Monthly Manager’s Checklist


  1. Schedule tentatively posted by the 15th for next month. Send an SVO Message to staff to review the schedule. 

  2. Completed schedule posted by 22nd of month for next month. Email staff that it is completed. Will be updated once SVO Calendar is in Beta.

  3. “Damaged” and “Good” frames returned to Frames Warehouse. Do not ship damaged and good frames together. Please place ‘good’ frames in bags to keep them from being damaged during shipping they will be brought back to Tulsa by a Home Office person visiting during the month.

  4. Email frame manager for a shipping label. Once the label is received, secure the box for shipping and put the label on it. Shipments will need to be dropped off with the appropriate shipping service for which the label was generated.

  5. Each location should be putting out glue traps, folded into boxes, to catch bugs by the doors, and throughout your location as needed. Please check these traps every 2-4 weeks, and turn over or replace as necessary. If your location continues to have issues with bugs, or we are the landlord (MN, AD & HM), please spray Ortho Home Defense around the outside perimeter of your building, and the inside of the exterior walls every 2-4 weeks (excluding the winter). If you continue to have problems, after doing the above, please put in a support ticket with the Facilites Deparment to report the issue. 




HR notifies managers for evals due the upcoming month. Be sure to have employees fill out the correct evaluation form and return it to you at their earliest convenience. Once you have completed your part of the evaluation form, schedule time to go over the eval so it is turned in to HR by the due date. Inform Payroll of the approved raise if needed. May be updated with SVO Calendar
