Topcon IS-5500 Instrument Stand and OC-2200 Exam Chair

Our standard exam lane setup includes a Topcon IS-5500 Instrument Stand, paired with a Topcon OC-2200 powered Exam Chair.

Attached to this support article are copies of the IS-5500 Instrument Stand manual and the OC-2200 Exam Chair manual.

Troubleshooting:

• Exam chair not raising or lowering:

Ensure that both the "Aux. 1" and "Aux. 2" on the Instrument Stand panel are enabled/lit. These Auxes (Auxillary power) provide power and communication between the instrument stand and the exam chair:

• Overhead lamp on the instrument stand not coming on:

a. Ensure that the "Lamp" on/off button is enabled on the instrument stand, then use the up and down arrows to raise/lower the overhead lamp brightness as desired. The brightness level will be indicated by the meter to the immediate left of the Lamp on/off button:
