To set up your Brother machine on a wireless network:

  1. Connect the power cord to your Brother machine and then connect it to an AC power outlet (electrical socket).
    Turn your Brother machine on.

  2. Press the Up or Downarrow key to select the following:
    1. Select Network. Press OK.

    2. Select WLAN. Press OK.

    3. Select Setup Wizard. Press OK.
  3. When WLAN Enable? or Enable WLAN? appears, enable the wireless network.
This will start the wireless setup wizard.

  4. The machine will search for your network and display a list of available Network Names (SSIDs).
When a list of SSIDs appears, press the Up or Down arrow keys to select the SSID you wrote down earlier.
  5. Press OK.

  6. Enter the Network Key, then press OK.
  7. The machine tries to connect to the wireless network you have selected.
    • If your Brother machine connected successfully
      The machine's LCD displays Connected.

    • If the connection failed
The machine will print a wireless connection report. Check the error code on the printed report.
