To connect your Brother Printer to wifi using the WPS button.
- First, confirm that your wireless router/access point has the WPS symbol/button, and place the printer close to the wireless router/access point.
- Turn on the printer.
- QL-810W: Press and hold the [WPS] button for one second.
- QL-820NWB: Press the [Menu] button and the [
] button to select the [WLAN] menu, and then press the [OK] button. Press the [
] button to select the [WPS Button Push] menu, and then press the [OK] button.
- Press the WPS button on your WLAN router/access point.
- When the connection is established, the Wi-Fi (
) LED is lit blue or the WLAN (
) icon appears on the LCD.
- You can now print from your computers wirelessly.
To connect Brother QL820NWB (LCD screen) to Wi-Fi
1. Turn on the printer.
- QL-820NWB: Press the [Menu] button
The Settings Menu will Appear.
Press the [
] button to select the [WLAN] menu, and then press the [OK] button.
Press the [OK] button to select the [WLAN (On/Off)] menu.
Press the [
] button and the [OK] button to turn the WLAN to ON.
- You will get a prompt saying "Turning on Wi-Fi Radio"
2. Make sure Network mode is set to Infra/Direct Mode
- QL-820NWB: Press the [Menu] button and the [
] button to select the [WLAN] menu, and then press the [OK] button. Press the [
] button then the [OK] button to select the [Network Mode] menu.
Then press the [
] button and the [OK] button to turn the Network Mode to the [Infra/Direct mode].
3. Connect to SSID Through Infra Manual Setup
- QL-820NWB: Press the [Menu] button and the [
] button to select the [WLAN] menu, and then press the [OK] button. Press the [
] button then the [OK] button to select the [Infra Manuel Setting] menu.
Then you will see a "Searching" screen, Then press the [
] button and the [OK] button to turn to select your Wi-fi SSID
- Type in your Wi-Fi Password and you will see a"Connecting" Screen that eventually turns into a"Connected!" screen.
4. Then your Brother QL Printers will be able to be added to your computer.
