How to change Brother Print Network Discovery Name

Open System Preferences then navigate to Printers & Scanners; Click the button labeled "Options & Supplies..."

Next, click the button labled "Show Printer Web Page..."

You will be redirected to an online portal that will ask you to login

The Login password that needs to be entered will be found on the back of the printer.

If there is no label preceded by "Pwd", the default password is "initpass".

Once Logged into the web portal navigate to the "Network" tab and then the "Protocol" menu.

Select the Advanced Settings for the Web Services Protocol

Change the Web Services Name & click Submit

Back to the Protocol page, Repeat for Air Drop Advanced Settings

Change the AirPrint Printer Name & click Submit
