To delete and readd a printer on your macOS computer.
- Navigate to the top right corner of your screen and click on the "Apple Icon" and click on "System Preferences"
- Within the "System Preferences" menu, navigate or search "Printers & Scanners".
- Within "Printers & Scanners", highlight the printer you are wanting to delete (by clicking on it), then click the "-" button below the left side box. (Click delete printer if prompted)
- Click the "+" button, a new window will pop up with a list of printers, select your printer (verify it is the right printer by the model number that can be found on the top or front of the brother printer itself).
- After Selecting your printer from the list, click the "Add" button on the bottom left of the window.
