How to remove a saved Wi-Fi network on Windows

Windows 10

  1. Right-click the Network icon on the lower right corner of the screen (or click the Wi-Fi icon, select the network, and select disconnect). For more information, see Fix Wi-Fi connection issues in Windows.
  2. Click Network & Internet settings.

  3. Click Wi-Fi and then click Manage known networks.

  4. Click the network to remove or delete under the Manage known networks list, then click Forget.

Windows 11

  1. Select Manage Wi-Fi connections on the Wi-Fi quick setting (or select StartSettingsNetwork & internetWi-FiManage Known Networks, select the network, and Forget).

  2. Select the Wi-Fi network.
  3. Select Disconnect.

Windows 8.1

  1. Click the wireless icon in the system tray, then right-click the wireless network to remove, click Forget this network.

  1. Open Network and Sharing Center, select Manage wireless networks on the left panel.
  2. Right-click the network that is not connecting properly or the network to remove, and select Remove network. Confirm the right password when connecting.
