Check the lens to make sure there are no swirls.
Ensure the air nozzle is completely drying the lenses after the wash cycle before they are sent to the coating side.
Set the coater to “Coating Prime” and observe the coating Stream level (Standard stream height is matched with the edge of the coating bowl)
Make sure there are no air bubbles in the Coating filter. They can cause the coating stream to look opaque instead of clear and cause froth to build up in the coating reservoir.
If air bubbles are present in the Coating filter; Wear gloves, place a terry cloth underneath the filter, and switch the coater to “Coating Prime” and slowly turn the twist off cap at the top of the filter to release the air bubbles. CAUTION: If you twist the filter cap off too much or too quickly the pressure buildup will force the cap off and spill the coating.
Ensure the coating applicator is straight up and down (Centered). The coating should jump up and down when you turn the switch to Coating Prime before stabilizing.
