To access creating a "Work Shift" in SVO's built-in Calendar system:

From the main page of SVO (first page upon login), go to Manager Tools->Work Shifts.

This will take you to the view of the schedule for "Today", for the location you are currently logged into:

From here, you can see any currently scheduled staff member(s) for "today".

  • Standard work shifts are shown in blue, with no icon, with white text to indicate the duration of that scheduled work shift.
  • Vacation work shifts are shown in red, with a palm tree icon, with white text to indicate the duration of that vacation work shift.
  • Tuesday Night Meeting work shifts are shown in yellow, with a handshake icon, with white text to indicate the duration of that work shift.
  • Remote work shifts are shown in blue, with an icon with a person entering a house, with text to indicate the duration of that work shift.

In the top portion of the page, a date selector is available so that managers can view a specific date with a calendar picker tool. There are also buttons to the right of the date selector, to switch to the Month view or Week view for the Month or Week of the currently viewed day (i.e. if January 1st of 2024 is being viewed, then clicking on "Month view" will take you to January of 2024; clicking on "Week view" will take you to 'week 1' of 2024).

To the left of the date selector, the location a user is currently working on the schedule for can be seen (in this example, "WL"). The date selected, along with the total of applicable currently scheduled hours, the target hours for that week, and the previous year's sales, can be seen:

Below the date selector is a graph of the total number of scheduled staff for applicable work shift varieties, by hour.
