Communication Error (OMA Timeout)

  1. Verify all the machine communication inputs (Ethernet Cables) and KeySpan Connections are secured.

  2. Remove the USB-Type B power cable from the KeySpans and wait 60 seconds.

  3. Plug in the power and wait to see if all channel lights are green.

  4. Restart communications in VLP and test by entering a job order # on your machines.

  5. Verify Baud Rates in VLP> Interface Setup; Each lab either runs at 9600 or 19200 (think of these as the communication frequency). If you have 5 pieces of equipment (Tracer, 2g, blocker, 2x Edger) you should have 5 communications lines open at the desired Baud Rate. 

  6. Verify the Baud Rate is correct in the machine (Setup menu will vary by machine).
